It's almost the end of Ramadhan and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the readers of LFHW and the hits/traffic itself has been great as usual. For your knowledge, our role here is to provide information of the current food outlets that provide Sungkai promotion and also provide images of the food for the benefit of our readers. We also like to point out that we are not food critiques as we have already explained from time to time. It's what many have misunderstood our role here or perhaps the lack of awareness on our part to inform the readers. 

Comments are available for the customers to give their feedback and it's been pretty good to see people posting comments on particular articles. It's also even great to see that restaurant owners replying to the comments posted and this is what we encourage them to do so they can create a more trustworthy relationship between the restaurant and the patrons. 

I came across one Facebook group page that is very much needed here in Brunei and it's a local version of "Trip Advisor" for food where unbiased reviews are given by the patrons themselves. I like how Alan Tan does his reviews based on quality, service, ambience, price and overall experience. However, I might question two or three postings of the reviews by one or two individuals as they are based on invitations or they are affiliated with the owners which contradicts the notion of "honest reviews by paying customers" the tagline used for the FB page. I hope to see more constructive comments and I also hope restaurant owners do take notice of these comments from LFHW and also the "Trip Advisor for Food" on FB and make improvements. 

Before I end, I would like to thank to the readers of LFHW and all the comments will be forwarded to the restaurant owners for them to analyse and take necessary actions to improve their quality of the food and service.

Kapow Burger started late for their business operations after a week of Ramadhan and their best seller was the Chicken Sambal. A must try!! They are already closed for business at the stadium.

Sungkai at iCentre last night was subdued as compared to previous years. Hadi Shafie announced his resgination as Manager of iCentre to pursue a new beginning.
